Welcome Fall Banner is designed for the kind of wall space that is often hardest to fill: a tall, narrow vertical area where a square or horizontal quilt would feel out of place. The elongated format gives the piece a strong presence while keeping the width compact.

The embroidered center spells “WELCOME” from top to bottom, with each letter integrated into a continuous arrangement of autumn flowers, leaves, vines, pumpkins, and seed pods. Rather than separating the design into individual blocks, the embroidery lets the seasonal motifs move naturally down the length of the banner.

Color plays an important role here. A bright orange outer border gives the piece immediate fall character, while the narrow gold inner border creates a warm transition to the lighter center panel. Within the embroidery, burgundy, pink, soft green, and pumpkin tones add variation without making the design feel busy.

Machine quilting adds surface texture across the borders and supports the stitched center, but the embroidery remains the primary visual focus. The result is decorative and seasonal, while still feeling like a substantial textile piece rather than temporary holiday decor.

The wall hanging measures 16″ wide x 61″ high and is made from 100% cotton fabric with wool batting. A sewn hanging sleeve on the back allows it to be displayed with a buyer-supplied rod or dowel.
