Santa in Flight is centered on a night-sky embroidery that uses contrast more than color. A deep black background allows the white and metallic stitching to carry the scene: Santa’s sleigh and reindeer sweep across the center while a small snowy village, clouds, a crescent moon, and elaborate poinsettia motifs frame the composition.

The metallic accents are intentionally selective. Gold stitching is concentrated on Santa, the sleigh, and the reindeer, giving those elements a slight shimmer while the rest of the embroidery remains primarily white. Against the black ground, that limited palette keeps the scene crisp and readable.

A narrow red border immediately surrounds the embroidery, creating a strong break before the outer floral print. The wider border uses white and cream poinsettias on black, echoing the embroidered poinsettias inside the center panel and tying the printed fabric directly to the stitched imagery. Red binding repeats the inner border and keeps the outer edge visually clean.

The wall hanging measures 32″ wide x 26″ high and is made from 100% cotton fabric with cotton batting. Its horizontal proportions make it especially suitable for seasonal display above a mantel, console, or other wider furniture.

A sewn hanging sleeve on the back allows it to be displayed with a buyer-supplied rod or dowel.
