Santa Train is all about line and detail. The entire winter scene is drawn in red machine embroidery across a pale fabric ground, creating the effect of an illustrated holiday sketch translated into thread.

A steam locomotive fills the foreground, pulling a long train through snow-covered evergreens toward a small village in the distance. Stars appear overhead, while candy canes and a North Pole sign anchor the lower edge of the scene. Although the design contains many individual elements, the single-color embroidery keeps everything visually connected.

The framing is intentionally simple. A narrow black inner border gives the embroidered panel definition, while the red outer binding repeats the thread color and finishes the edge cleanly.

The finished wall hanging measures 18″ wide x 26″ high and is made from 100% cotton fabric with cotton batting. Its tall, narrow proportions make it easy to place in wall spaces where a broader quilted piece would not fit.

A sewn hanging sleeve on the back allows it to be displayed with a buyer-supplied rod or dowel.
