Autumn Runner began with a simple visual idea: let fall color move across the table without relying on pumpkins, leaves, or printed seasonal motifs. The design is built from diamond-shaped blocks arranged across a white quilted field, shifting gradually from dark brown and burgundy into red, orange, gold, yellow, and green.

The darker end has a deep late-autumn feel, while the brighter golds and yellows at the opposite end keep the piece lively and light. The white background gives the diamonds room to stand apart, so the runner reads as both seasonal decor and a clean geometric textile.

The quilting adds another layer of movement. Curved stitching travels across the surface, softening the straight diamond layout and giving the white areas visible texture. It keeps the runner from feeling flat, especially in angled light, where the stitching becomes part of the design rather than just the construction.

At 19″ x 56″, Autumn Runner is sized for a dining table, buffet, console table, kitchen island, or seasonal display area. It can sit under a centerpiece for fall entertaining, but the lighter background also makes it usable beyond a single holiday setting. The color story suggests autumn without locking the piece into one specific event.

The runner is made from 100% cotton fabric with cotton fill, using the same construction approach as a small quilt. It is machine washable, so it is practical for a working table as well as decorative use.
