Floral Vignettes is a 48″ square quilt built around a series of embroidered wildflower panels framed with black scrollwork. Those detailed floral blocks alternate with cream and rust-brown pieced diamonds, creating a traditional grid with enough variation to keep the surface visually active.

The palette is warm and muted: rust-brown, cream, plum, black, and softened floral colors. A wide rust-brown floral border surrounds the pieced center and gives the quilt a strong outer frame. The embroidered panels bring in more intricate detail, while the diamond blocks provide quieter spaces where the quilting can be seen more clearly.

Wool batting gives the quilt light warmth without making it bulky, so it works well as a lap quilt or small throw. The square format also makes it especially effective as decorative textile art, where the embroidery, piecing, and quilting can be appreciated together as a complete composition.

The reverse side adds another layer of interest with a brown, purple, and green butterfly-and-dragonfly print, giving the quilt a distinctly different look when folded or turned over.

Floral Vignettes does not have a sewn hanging sleeve. For wall display, it should be supported with an appropriate quilt-display method such as textile clips or another non-damaging hanging system chosen by the owner.
