Bougainvillea is a handmade 60″ square quilt built around linked diamond blocks in teal, rose, raspberry, coral, purple, soft green, and cream. The color placement shifts from stronger jewel tones toward softer pastels, giving the center more intensity while the outer areas feel lighter and quieter.

The geometric diamond design gives the quilt a modern, graphic quality, while the cream background and detailed quilting soften the overall effect. The result works equally well as nursery wall art, a play quilt, a generous lap quilt, or a special handmade baby gift.

The quilt is made from 100% cotton fabrics with wool fill, giving it a soft drape and lightweight warmth. The large cream background areas also provide plenty of space for the quilting design to show clearly around the colorful pieced blocks.

At 60″ x 60″, Bougainvillea is especially well suited to display over a crib or on a nursery wall. It can also be used as a supervised play quilt or lap quilt. As with any loose bedding, it should not be placed in a crib with a sleeping infant.
